Portals of the Past

Portals of the Past is a series of original artworks commissioned by the San Francisco Arts Commission as part of an ongoing public art project placing art posters in bus kiosks on Market Street titled Art on Market Street. The posters were in public display from January to June 2014.
This series of six artworks focuses on statuary and monuments located in Golden Gate Park and through visual cues uncovers forgotten narratives and relevance to the city’s identity and history.
